If you downloaded the latest Synaptics driver software (v.15.2.20) for your touchpad from the Synaptics website and not from the notebook manufacturer website, and you are annoyed by the pop-up SynNoButtons video, you can follow this guide to disable this function.
Under your mouse properties, click on the last tab “Device Settings”. Click “Settings” to pull up the “Synaptics Properties” window or right click on the Synaptics tray icon and select TouchPad Properties.
Select and check “Tapping” and you will see a Gear on the right side (no 1 on the image). The Gear allows you to go into “Tapping Settings.”
If you have Tapping unchecked, you cannot access these settings.
Click into this and you can either uncheck “Enable tapping zones”(no 2 on the image) to disable it or change the very last drop down menu (with Top Right Action) to “No Zone”(no 3 on the image).
Proceed to back out, uncheck Tapping again if you so desire, and compute annoyance free.
